Wellness Wednesday: You Only Die Once, Navigating Options at the End of Life (Part 4)

Join us for this special four-part Wellness Wednesday series, as guest speakers explore types of care and support available at the end of life, and practical guidance for ensuring your wishes are honored. In “Part 4: Taking Control – Decision-Making and Advance Care Planning”, John Tastad will cover essential planning documents, the role of a hospital bioethics committee, and getting started with a plan to ensure your wishes are met.
Speaker: John Tastad, SCC is the coordinator for the Advance Care Planning program at Sharp HealthCare. He has served as a chaplain at Sharp HospiceCare for many years, providing spiritual support to terminally ill patients and their family members, and serves on the bioethics committee at two hospitals. John is passionate about advance care planning, which helps ensure that patients will receive the care they want if they become unable to speak for themselves.
