Since 1996, the Grossmont Healthcare District has supported a variety of local nonprofit health and wellness organizations through grants and sponsorships to meet the unmet healthcare needs of more than 500,000 in East County. This year we’re awarding $1.5 million to address priority community health needs involving direct, hands-on patient care with an emphasis on aging concerns, behavioral health, chronic conditions, and/or factors that contribute to these areas.
