Since 1996, the Grossmont Healthcare District has supported various local nonprofit health and wellness organizations through grants and sponsorships to meet the unmet healthcare needs of more than 520,000 in East County. This upcoming grant year, we’re increasing our award amount to $4 million to address priority community health needs involving direct, hands-on patient care, emphasizing aging concerns, behavioral health, chronic conditions, and/or factors that contribute to these areas.

The grant application window has been shortened from prior years, and the Submittable portal will be open for FY 25-26 from تموز/يوليو 1, 2025 to آب/أغسطس 31, 2025. Existing grantees are eligible to apply before the end of their current grant year, as long as the requested funding is for a different project. All grant applications will be reviewed by the Community Grants Committee beginning in أيلول/سبتمبر, and award announcements are expected in كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2025.
