The Grossmont Healthcare District represents more than 520,000 East County residents. Its boundaries cover a large geographic area of 750 square miles extending East from more urban areas like La Mesa to more rural neighborhoods in Mountain Empire and from Campo going North past Santee.
If you live, work, attend school, or have access health care services within District boundaries, you are eligible to take advantage of the health and wellness opportunities happening at the District including:
- Full access to GHD’s Health & Wellness Library – current District residents, employees, students, and health care patients with provided proof of eligibility are able to sign up for a library card that gives you access to the Library’s reliable health information, its study spaces, and other services.
