Event Series Event Series: Music Storytime with Hooray Miss Marae

Music Storytime with Hooray Miss Marae

March 8th @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Hooray Miss Marae’s interactive library programs delight, teach and engage children and their families. Her playful, multi-disciplinary arts programming helps children better understand the world around them through original music, storytelling, puppetry, dance, and visual art. To develop early childhood literacy, young audiences are encouraged to listen, sing, and play while moving creatively. These monthly classes will reinforce healthy habits with books and songs that promote better overall health and wellness in children. Parents will be encouraged to actively participate to support a positive child-parent (caregiver) relationship.

When: Every 2nd Friday | 10-11 AM
Where: Grossmont Healthcare District’s Health & Wellness Library (9001 Wakarusa St. La Mesa, CA 91942)
Register: Call 619.825.5010, email library@grossmonthealthcare.org, or visit in person to reserve your spot.

Interested participants may call, email, or sign up in person promptly after the previous session of the class has ended.

  • Ex. I want to sign up for Storytime from 10-11 AM on 2/10. We’re only adding names to our registration list after the previous session of Storytime on 1/13 has ended. Give us a call after 11 AM and we’ll gladly add you to our list or waitlist if all spots have been filled.
This is a GHD-sponsored program with priority given to people who live, work, attend school, or have a health-related connection to East County. If there is space available, other community members may attend.
