Wellness Wednesday: Obesity & COVID-19

This presentation will review obesity and its linkage with COVID-19. We will explain best practices and preventative measures, discuss how COVID-19 affects those with obesity and will offer resources for those in need. The CDBG Health Education Program provides COVID-19 education, explains its relationship with chronic conditions (diabetes, obesity, hypertension, asthma, COPD), and teaches patients the most updated preventative measures, such as vaccination, proper hand wash, and the proper way to wear a mask, among others. Following the presentation is a film screening of Fatherhood [starring Kevin Hart].
