Love Your Heart Week
February 14th - February 29th
Love Your Heart Week is an annual event in which organizations from across the U.S. and Mexico join together to provide FREE blood pressure screenings to the public on or near Valentine’s Day. The event brings together community partners to prevent heart disease and stroke and empowers the public to take control of their heart health, know their blood pressure numbers, and know what they mean. Stop by our site to get a free screening.
- CPR/AED Training: An Eric Paredes Save a Life Foundation volunteer will be outside in the Courtyard for free CPR/AED training on February 14th from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM.
- Blood Pressure Screenings: Medical volunteer will be inside the library on February 21st from 11 AM – 2 PM to help take your blood pressure.
- Blood Pressure Screenings: Sharp Grossmont Hospital volunteers will be taking blood pressure on February 28th before and after the Wellness Wednesday presentation at 9:30 AM and 11-11:30 AM.
- Blood Pressure Monitors are available for independent use at the Health & Wellness Library during the dates listed below.
