Wellness Wednesday: Sleep Across a Life Cycle

Join us as we explore the important topic of sleep! Discover how sleep changes as we age and which sleep disorders become more common. You’ll hear about practical tips for improving sleep quality and learn more about the current research underway at the UCSD School of Medicine Sleep Research Lab.

Pamela DeYoung is a clinical research supervisor and educator with over 20 years of experience in sleep medicine, research, and training across the United States and internationally. She has led accredited laboratory teams, taught sleep-related coursework at multiple colleges, and contributed extensively to the scientific literature through numerous peer-reviewed publications. Known for her strong leadership, technical expertise, and global teaching experience, she continues to advance the field through research, mentorship, and professional service.

Wellness Wednesdays are GHD-sponsored programs that feature different health topics every month. Wellness Wednesdays are free and open to all community members. Registration is not required. Parking in our lot is limited. Additional parking is available across the street in the Brier Patch Campus lot. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to get settled and parked, as these are our most popular programs.
