Know the Signs: Preventing teen relationship violence and human trafficking

One in three teens in the U.S. will experience physical, sexual, or emotional abuse by someone they are in a relationship with, and San Diego County has been identified by the FBI as a top destination for human trafficking in the U.S. But these types of violence and exploitation can be prevented when teens, families, and communities work together. Join us for this important program and learn how to:
- Identify the risk factors for teen relationship violence and sexual exploitation
- Support survivors in ways that reduce harm, increase safety, and preserve dignity
- Engage in and encourage safe and healthy relationship behaviors and online activity
