Community Benefits and Needs Assessments

The District also receives and accepts a report annually on the Community Benefits derived from the lease of Grossmont Hospital to Sharp HealthCare. In a broader context, Community Benefits are also part of an effort by each hospital in California to identify community needs by means of conducting a Community Health Needs Assessment, as well as a follow-up Implementation Plan on how a hospital will address those needs.
