Kazuya Hayashi is an Accounting Technician with the Grossmont Healthcare District, having first joined the District as an intern before transitioning into his current full-time role. A San Diego native and Japanese-American, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts and Sciences, Business Administration (Accounting) from San Diego State University. He is drawn to work that rewards precision and steady improvement, and is passionate about continuous learning both within government accounting and beyond it. Outside of office, Kazuya is an avid traveler with a particular fondness for Japan, and can usually be found outdoors hiking or on the tennis court, along with just about any other racquet sport. He also has a longstanding interest in investing and personal finance. He's glad to be building his career at an organization that serves the community he grew up in.
