Grants & Sponsorships

Since 1996, the Grossmont Healthcare District has supported various local nonprofit health and wellness organizations through grants and sponsorships to meet the unmet healthcare needs of more than 520,000 in East County. For the FY26-27 grant year, the Board has budgeted $3.25 million for community grant and sponsorship awards for projects that operate within District boundaries or serve District residents, align with the District's mission and current strategic priority areas, and are designed to address the specific needs of East County residents.

All grant applications will be reviewed by the Community Grants Committee beginning in September, and award announcements are expected to begin in November 2026. Sponsorship requests will be accepted year round until funding is exhausted.
