DESCRIPTION:The County of San Diego Board of Supervisors has publicly and openly acknowledged racism as a public health crisis. On March 24 we will learn about bold actions planned by the County to transform our region to be more inclusive\, responsive\, and anti-racist. Chair Nathan Fletcher will present steps the County will take to address institutional racism and implement policies and actions with an equity lens. Mr. Strong will discuss the vision of the newly formed Office of Equity & Racial Justice and how he plans to work and build trust with communities throughout the region. \nJoin the San Diego Accountable Community for Health at 1:00pm to learn about bold actions planned by the County to transform our region to be more inclusive\, responsive\, and anti-racist. DESCRIPTION:This program is for individuals who are experiencing physical limitations due to disease\, trauma or the aging process. It is a hands-on introduction to various mediums\, art techniques and ceramics which encourages personal creative expression through various projects. Modifications or adaptive techniques may be utilized for optimal success. Classes are taught by local artisans. (currently the ceramic class is on hold due to COVID restrictions.)
