2021-2022 Scholarship Cycle
The District is an active supporter of healthcare education and training for the benefit of future generations. Each year, a portion of the overall District grants and sponsorships budget is allocated for scholarship programs offered to local high school and college students living or attending school within District boundaries. The next application period for all health career programs opens opens December 1, 2021 and ends on February 11, 2022. Richard J. Bea Nursing ScholarshipGrossmont Healthcare District will award two non-renewable scholarships in the amount of $5,000 for first place and $3,000 for second place to Registered Nursing students.
Health Tech ScholarshipGrossmont Healthcare District will consider five scholarships as described below in the amount of $3,500 each.
High School Health Career ScholarshipThe Grossmont Healthcare District (GHD) encourages young people to consider the health care industry when making their career choices.
Behavioral Health ScholarshipGrossmont Healthcare District will consider five scholarships for behavioral health professionals pursing post-baccalaureate education in the amount of $10,000 each as described below.
Advanced Registered Nursing ScholarshipGrossmont Healthcare District will award three scholarships in the amount of $7,000 each to Registered Nurses who have been accepted in Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) programs.
